KidsBank is delighted to announce the publication of Nettle Noo, a new children’s picture book written by the charity’s own Chief Executive.
The rhyming story follows a little fairy without wings who discovers that she can still do wonderful things. At its heart is a simple message: kindness is powerful, and everyone has something to give.
The idea came from family walks in the local area, which inspired both the setting and the story. The CEO wrote and published the book during one of the busiest years in KidsBank’s history, which the team describes as a remarkable achievement.
Supporting local families
Fifty percent of all profits from sales of Nettle Noo will be donated to KidsBank. That money will help the charity keep providing clothing, essentials and gifts to children and families across Cheshire West and Chester and Flintshire.
