Professional Referral

KidsBank offers support for families who have children aged 0-12 years old, who are experiencing hardship and who live within Chester and the surrounding area. We give children’s clothing up to size 11-12 years.

We do not provide shoes, except for school shoes. Other items we do not supply include; adult clothing, any furniture (except cot beds), single or bunk beds, curtains, baby walkers, electrical items and car seats.

Our Professional Referral Form should be filled and submitted by a midwife, health visitor, social worker, or other front-line professional.

Families can be referred every six months if children are over 1, and every 3 months for babies under 1. Please try and complete one referral with all items needed, rather than multiple smaller referrals.

Once we receive your referral, we will liaise with the family to arrange delivery. If you prefer to collect, you must provide a collection date in the ‘Any Further Information’ box provided before we can start to prepare it. During busy periods we may ask you to collect your referral.
