As Chairman of Kidsbank Chester it has been a privilege to watch the charity grow and meet the ever-increasing needs of local families. Some needs are temporary, others more sustained. Our primary beneficiaries are our most vulnerable families living within a 20 mile radius of Chester. Serving them through the pandemic and now assisting through the cost of living crisis, I have seen first-hand the appalling circumstances facing some families and the impact that has on their children, matched only by the love and care demonstrated by the volunteers at KidsBank.
We always seek to invest value and dignity in the recipients, giving children the very best start in life and also encouraging the recycling of children’s clothing, equipment and toys. Our latest project is the KidsBank Pop-ups where we sit alongside other community-based services, and take referrals directly. On behalf of those families who will need assistance this year, we say thank you for your ongoing support.
