On 9th of May, Cathy and Nick Pettingale, our Founder and our Chair of Trustees had the great honour of representing KidsBank at the Coronation Garden Party. Charity champions from across the UK were invited to Buckingham Palace for the special Coronation Garden Party, the first to be held following the Coronation of King Charles III.
The Buckingham Palace Garden Party was hosted, on behalf of The King, by The Prince of Wales. His Royal Highness was joined by The Princess of Wales, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester. A total of 8,000 guests were welcomed to the garden in recognition of their public service and charity or community work.
We are so incredibly proud of all that KidsBank has done to support local families across Cheshire and Flintshire. For our work to be recognised in this way is just amazing.
