KidsBank Chester was one of the two charities of the day at this year’s Chester Raft Race, which marked its 50th anniversary on the River Dee.
Chester Grosvenor 76 Round Table selected KidsBank to benefit from the milestone event, alongside the RNLI. Over 40 rafts took part in the race, watched by thousands of spectators lining the river, with the odd water fight breaking out along the way.
KidsBank volunteer Sarah joined the Lord Mayor of Chester, Sherin Akhtar, and Isaac Kerney on the judging panel.
At the KidsBank stall, visitors donated, bought raffle tickets and spun the wheel for prizes. The charity thanked everyone who supported the stall, as well as the volunteers who helped throughout the day.
