Refer Yourself
Our General Referrals are now CLOSED to ensure all referrals are processed and with families before 19th December 2025.
We will re-open for General Referrals on 5th January 2026.
General Summer Self Referral
You may refer yourself for clothing, toiletries, baby feeding bank items and nappies only.
We process referrals seasonally as follows:
- Summer – You can submit a referral for summer clothing items between April to July
- Winter – You can submit a referral for winter clothing items between September to March
- Please note: we are CLOSED for referrals in August.
Our Self Referral Form can be filled in where all of the following applies:
- You are experiencing hardship and need support with items for your children
- Your children are aged between 0-12 years
- You live within Cheshire West & Cheshire and Flintshire
- Your last 2 referrals have not been a self-referral (this excludes referrals for baby formula and/or nappies)
Please complete one referral with all items immediately needed, rather than multiple smaller referrals.
Once the referral has been prepared, we will contact you directly to arrange delivery.
Should you require additional items that are not listed on the self referral form, please contact a professional, such as a midwife, health visitor, teacher, social worker or any other front line professional who may submit a Professional Referral on your behalf.
We will be able to process up to 2 self-referrals for a family. Should a family need further assistance, we ask that any further referrals are submitted by a Professional Referrer on the family’s behalf.

General Winter Self Referral
Families can complete a Self Referral for clothing, toiletries, baby feeding bank items and nappies. Due to high demand for our services, Self Referrals are limited to ONE in each calendar year.
Please note that this does not apply to:
- Nappy and Formula referrals, where you can request these items ONCE in each calendar month.
- Uniform referrals, which can be made ahead of the Autumn Term and Summer Term for each school year.
If you have already had a Self Referral after 1st January 2026 and need further support, a Professional Referrer will need to submit a Professional Referral on your behalf.

- Your children are aged between 0-12 years
- You live in Cheshire West & Chester or Flintshire
- Your last general referral has not been a self-referral (this excludes referrals for baby formula and/or nappies)
